The DAN Student Membership Program (SMP) is FREE, easy to use and available to all entry-level divers in the DAN Americas region.
Peace of Mind
By helping them to enroll in the Student Member Program, not only will you be giving your students peace of mind, as an instructor you immediately benefit as well. The Student Membership Program offers your new divers up to $20,000 recompression treatment insurance during training. Coverage ends in six months, or when they complete the last required dive for certification, whichever occurs first. Put simply, the SMP will increase your level of risk management during dive training, at no cost to you. The program protects both you and your student divers.
DAN is Your Buddy
DAN stands by Instructors. We provide you with on-call dive medics who are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They are there when you or your students need emergency assistance. We provide a separate medical information line for when you need general diving medical information. Whether it’s ear problems or pregnancy and diving, we have some of the leading diving medical experts on hand to provide you the best available answers.
The bottom line is that accidents happen and that, despite our best efforts, students may be injured. Protect both yourself and your students by using the DAN Student Membership Program.
